Event Liability Waiver

Participant Liability Waiver and Release Agreement By signing this Liability Waiver and Release Agreement (“Agreement”), I, the undersigned participant, acknowledge the inherent risks associated with participating in the MMMile event (“Event”), a mile run held on [Event Date], and agree to assume all risks and release the event organizers, their affiliates, sponsors, volunteers, and partners (collectively, “Organizers”) from liability for any injuries, damages, or losses that may occur during the Event.

Terms and Conditions

1. Acknowledgment of Risks: I understand that participating in the Event involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, illness, death, or property damage due to running, collisions, falls, weather conditions, uneven terrain, or other hazards. I acknowledge that these risks may arise from my own actions, the actions of others, or conditions beyond the control of the Organizers.

2. Assumption of Risk: I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participating in the Event, whether known or unknown, and accept full responsibility for any injuries, damages, or losses that may result from my participation.

3. Release and Waiver of Liability: In consideration of being permitted to participate in the Event, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and agree not to sue the Organizers from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action arising from my participation in the Event, including but not limited to claims for negligence, personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death. 

4. Health and Fitness: I represent that I am physically fit and have no medical conditions that would prevent my safe participation in the Event. I agree to immediately stop participating if I feel unsafe or unwell and to seek medical attention if necessary.

5. Compliance with Rules: I agree to comply with all Event rules, instructions, and safety guidelines provided by the Organizers. Failure to comply may result in my removal from the Event without refund.

6. Representation: I confirm that I am at least 18 years of age 

MMMile Event Release Form

Participant Release Agreement By signing this Release Form (“Agreement”), I, the undersigned, grant permission to the MMMile event organizers, their affiliates, and sponsored partners (collectively, “Organizers”) to use photographs, videos, or other media (“Media”) featuring my likeness, taken during the MMMile event (“Event”) held on [September 21st, 2025], for promotional and commercial purposes. 

Terms and Conditions 

1. Grant of Rights: I hereby grant the Organizers a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, distribute, display, and create derivative works of the Media in any format, including but not limited to print, digital, social media, advertisements, and promotional materials, for the purpose of promoting the MMMile event or related activities. 

2. Commercial Use: I understand and agree that the Media may be used for commercial purposes, including but not limited to marketing campaigns, merchandise, and partnerships with sponsors, without further compensation to me. 

3. No Obligation to Use: The Organizers are not obligated to use the Media and may choose to use or not use the Media at their sole discretion. 

4. Release of Claims: I waive any right to inspect or approve the Media or the manner in which it is used, and I release the Organizers from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the use of the Media, including but not limited to claims for defamation, invasion of privacy, or infringement of publicity rights.

 

5. Representation: I confirm that I am at least 18 years of age or, if under 18, that this Agreement is signed by my parent or legal guardian. I acknowledge that I have read and understood this Agreement before signing.
